Jenna Urhammer earned her M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. After graduating, she spent four years doing preclinical research at a private contract research organization, researching several immunological diseases in mice and rats. She joined the Hulleman lab as a research professional II and has been studying the effects of specific drugs and other small molecules on age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in vivo. In her professional life, Jenna is interested in autoimmune disease research as well as learning about conditions that can be attributed to those diseases. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, quilting, cooking, and traveling. Skol Vikings!
