Harkamal recently earned her MS in Plant Pathology from North Dakota State University in May, 2024. Driven by her passion for biomedical sciences, she joined Hulleman Lab in June, 2024. She currently focuses on studying ocular-involved serine hydrolases, specifically, HTRA1 (involved in AMD). She plans on pursuing a doctorate in biomedical sciences to further her expertise in the future. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, cooking, solving puzzles, and exploring nature.
